So I've been thinking, big city like SF and you can't meet a decent guy to save your life! Maybe I've been hanging out at the wrong places? You mean you aren't going to find your soulmate at Ruby Skye? AT & T Park? Church? What gives?
I'm not the only one experiencing difficulties in the dating realm. Seems its a complicated world out there, being a meztiza with a little culture, education and gasp!...standards! I find my successful Latina sisters are having similar issues- meeting men not intimidated by the triple whammy- intellect, looks and gasp- independence!
Therefore, I invite my meztiza/Latina sisters (and brothers) to share their dating woes, make me laugh, make me cry- anything to get through the next 100 days of my life in which I will go on 100 dates to prove...well...to prove...what exactly? To prove that there are men out there who are worthy of bright, beautiful and successful women out there to engage in deep meaningful conversation, activities, and dare I say it? A long lasting, passionate, deep relationship.
